Welcome!
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University, Denmark. I received my Ph.D in HCI/Design at Indiana University Bloomington where I was advised by Professor Norman Makoto Su.
My research interests include human–computer interaction (HCI), human-robot interaction (HRI), computer–supported cooperative work (CSCW), and science & technology studies (STS). I am interested in how values can and should be incorporated into the design of future technologies. Through my research, I hope to offer alternatives to human-centered designs that contribute to building our relationship with technologies in authentic ways.
I received the M.S. degree in Information Science from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. At UNC, I worked on sociomateriality and smart/ traditional health tracking technologies users with Professor Mohammad Hossein Jarrahi
