Welcome!
I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aalborg University.
I recently finished my Ph.D in HCI/Design at Indiana University Bloomington where I was advised by Professor Norman Makoto Su.
My research interests include human–computer interaction (HCI), human-robot interaction (HRI), computer–supported cooperative work (CSCW), and science & technology studies (STS). I am interested in how values can and should be incorporated into the design of future technologies. Through my research, I hope to offer alternatives to human-centered designs that contribute to building our relationship with technologies in authentic ways.
I received the M.S. degree in Information Science from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. At UNC, I worked on smart/ traditional health tracking technologies users with Professor Mohammad Hossein Jarrahi, and the B.A degree both in Integrated Studies of Culture (ISC) in Scranton Honors Program (SHP) and in Library and Information Science from the Ewha Womans University, Seoul, South Korea.
